rest. work. rest.
Rhythms of Grace
matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion?
Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life.
I'll show you how to take a real rest.
Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.
I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.
Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

beat #8 - jasmine (Wednesday, March 21, 2012 / 11:55 AM)

things are going smoothly in certain aspects,
it is wonderful, to be assured of a good head count to make up a leadership team.

but the challenges remain,
what do i hold on to?
do i make it personal, or do i use the power i have to drive the direction of the club in the same manner?

i have to constantly re-evaluate the vision i have for this group,
pray, pray, pray that i am holding on to the essentials, and letting the other stuff go.
hard decisions...
when God calls us to work, he doesn't want us to leave off resting in him...

why, why, why?

Christ in me, the hope of glory

the only hope, i have, for glory,
the only way, i can make a difference,
the only way, i can bring change,
is Christ.
is Christ.
is Christ.
