"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion?
Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life.
I'll show you how to take a real rest.
Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.
Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

My words are simple
on the surface they may seem meaningless
sometimes they are...
It's been a while since my last post.. and where I left off.
"you are defined by Who you are in Christ"
Recently I've picked up a book that i've had for a long time. Given to me by my youth pastor back in high school. I never thought much of it.. never thought i would ever read it. but how wrong! i regret not reading it earlier. but then i may not have heard what God was speaking through that book if i wasn't wanting it and paying attention. it's something i've realized.. if you're given something very valuable at a time when you didn't think it was, it wouldn't be valuable.
This book is called "S.H.A.P.E" by Erik Rees. It's like a "guide" to finding and realizing what God uniquely made you and i to be.
First chapter is learning to discover our spiritual gifts. To do so, it is by serving. Only by serving, I can find what is most fulfilling for myself and what brings the greatest results for God. Not some tests online, serving =] And really, its not to learn more about myself.., its how I can bless others with the spiritual gifts God has blessed me with. "The more you serve God in ministry, the more clearly you will see your gifts." its not about me, its about how i can serve in a larger picture. even though i may seem to have become smaller, i feel big to have the uniqueness God specially made me to be.
"you are defined by Who you are in Christ" who am I in Christ? Serve, and i'll find out
