Soundbites: a collection of verses that stood out to me

v 3 "let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart."

pearls of wisdom.
i remember when this verse imprinted itself in my head.
steadfast love and faithfulness need to be binded, for i find that in my life they often easily slip away.

i guess to be steadfast is not a trait i am very good at.
weakness is natural, but the God i serve is supernatural - so shall i be.

v 11 "my son do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof. for the Lord reproves him who he loves, as a Father the son in whom he delights."

may my heart be moldable to always.
it is hard to understand love Father, i don't understand.

v 19-20 "the Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens; by his knowledge the deeps broke open and the clouds drop down the dew."

it is the wisdom, understanding and knowledge of God that hold the universe together.
the sutures of grace reveal themselves in their stitching, for only then do i get a glimpse of the bigger picture.

v 27 "do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act."

if ever a reason to fight for social justice for the rest of my life,
it is the word of the Father that i will fly as my banner.
there is no other purpose that runs as deep and as true as this.
